Connie Summers was raised in Chicago and has lived in Colorado and Louisiana. In each of these places, she has always taken photographs, and she has always had pets. Her early work captured the beauty of her surroundings— from Lake Shore Drive to the Colorado Rockies to the Louisiana landscape— but when she moved to Sarasota, Florida, her true passion for pet photography became apparent. Connie has pursued this path while raising two boys, who often appear alongside the pets in her work.

Connie's passion for pet photography has led to a fulfilling and award-winning career. Her work has been featured in national magazines, books, and calendars. In addition to photographing pets, Connie has extensive experience photographing weddings, sporting events, and portraits.
